Shoes

"I'm a student at CFISD. In the eighth grade I had spilled something on my pants during lunch, and I was changing in the bathroom stall. I had someone I knew[not that well] with me, and since we didn't have a lot of time left, I shoved my shoes under the stall door and asked her to untie them while I was changing. When she was done, she said "I'll throw them over the door", but I heard someone whisper "hahah, aim for the toilet!". Yeah. They threw both my shoes in the toilet. What was I suppose to do? Walk home barefoot? When we walked out, the girl even said to a teacher "HAHA, I THREW HER SHOES IN THE TOILET!" The teacher just laughed. All I could do was smile along, hold back the burning tears, but I was dying inside. I had soggy shoes all the way home...

I came home shaking and with tears rolling down my cheeks. My dad kept asking what was wrong, but I kept saying "I'm fine". I told him that my shoes were thown in the toilet. Then he got mad at me for not giving any names, and I told him not to call the school... but he did anyway. I was too scared to rat anyone out. When they called me in the office the next day, I told them I wasn't going to give any names. If the teacher already saw it, why should I be the one to share?" - Private name
