"I had reason to believe Cypress-Fairbanks ISD does not take bullying seriously. My son went to a middle school at CFISD last year and within the first week he was repeated being bullied. He was pushed in the hallway. He had bruises on his hand from the fall. His backpack was purposely unzipped while he was walking up the stairs so that all his textbooks fell out. An 8th grader accused my son of spitting at him and punched him on the face. I went to the Director of Transfer and fill out a transfer form listing all the above reasons for wanting to transfer my son out of the school but the response I got from the transfer committee was " It was not an acceptable reason for a transfer. Acceptable reason for a transfer would be something medical like allergic to the paint of the school". At that time I felt like if something ever happen to my son , CFISD will be responsible.
